Overview

Now in its 4th year, SON 2013 is expanding on it predecessing events, not only with a greater number of speakers from executive backgrounds, but through offering real life case studies into how SON's are starting to work in reality. The 2-day carrier led event, which is the ONLY DEDICATED SELF ORGANISING event in the globe, will bring together the latest research, case studies and solutions around SON, offering high-level technical discussion around the different automated technologies through to strategic decisions on deployment and feedback from the first SON movers.

Why Now?
With operators' revenues failing to increase in line with rapid explosion of data growth, the need to reduce networks costs whilst maintaining an optimised network has never been greater. Enter Self Organising Networks. Automation of the networks if increasingly being identified as a key way for operators to reach these two key priorities, and given the growth of LTE networks, and its standardisation within this, SON has now become a reality.
